Regarding the typical teenager thing, spending a lot of time on the xbox/computer and such, it's all part of your age man. At that age (well 2-3 years ago) I would play Halo 3 pretty much all day. Still had my circle of friends, but I often too wondered: what the hell am I really doing with my life, playing Halo all day?
2-3 years later, I'm studying at a university, living in a student dorm (go home to my parents every weekend), hang out with my friends a lot, and still have time left for some Evo now and then!
You have nothing to worry about at your age, just see how things go and when you know what you really want, go for it.
