Can you play past user created tracks (aka before origin of pain) with the gecko?

It's something I want to know since I want to see if I can conquer the hardest of tracks by the likes of Murdoc loch

I don't think you can use it on any singleplayer or track central tracks prior to DLC.

I think you have to have the DLC to even see the Gecko let alone play a track with it and even then you are limited to the creators decision of bikes being aloud to use.

Well, that's poo.... But I can't complain, origin of pain lived up to my expectations and better, but I may continue to use the old editor world.

Even if I were to reload my file in editor and check the gecko as selectable? Then save a version that way?
I'd check for myself, but I'm stuck away from trials.
