    Evo Dots vs. HD Meter

In my opinion the ghost dots in Evo can get extremely annoying. I play with them off, but I would still like to see where my friends are compared to me while I'm racing. I would rather have the HD meter. Maybe RL can add the option to use the HD meter instead of the dots in the next update. That would be awesome! What do you guys think?

I like the ability to turn it all off. I certainly like the HD meter more than the dots, but thats because I never really noticed the meter was there, it was out of sight, out of mind for me.

The only thing I really pay attention to is the red/green little numbers in the top left.

That Is also what I liked best about the meter. You only had to look at It when you wanted to because it was on the edge of the screen. You pretty much always have to look at the dots because they are in the center of the screen.

Re: Evo Dots vs. HD Meter

im with jook here. i turned the evo dots off on Day 1 and i wish we had the option to do the same in hd with the meter.
it was one of my few grievances with that game and im glad they sorted it - far too distracting for me

Re: Evo Dots vs. HD Meter

I loved having my ghost available. It lets me see exactly how and where I can gain/lose time. The meter was useless to me as it felt inprecise, but too many dots are a pita too. The choice to race against my ghost means I just have me against me and can see my strong/weak areas clearly.

Coming from forza I know some people love ghosts and some hate them. I like having the option to have no ghosts, friends ghosts or one selected ghost. But the HD meter just seemed worthless to me.

I agree that the ghosts are more useful, but if Redlynx were to add the meter to Evo, I'm sure they would make it better than it was in HD.

I personally prefer the dots seeing as the account for when you are going up or down a hill/Ramp more properly.. in HD you would think you are behind on a time when really it was just the meter being dumb... but like you said im sure they would make improvements on it. I sucked when HD was big so i wouldnt really know what people thought. #FastestGrowingEvoPlayer? xD

    I hate both of them.

I never even looked at the meter in HD, so really it was just a waste of screen space.

The dots on Evo are waaay too distracting, and I turned them off the first day.

The positive or negative times are enough information for me to know how well I'm doing.
