Trials Evo Competition in Australia | Forums

Hi guys,

There is a gaming expo in Australia called EBExpo http://ebexpo.com.au/ and it is in 2 weeks. Ubisoft Australia are going to be showing off Trials Evo at the event in a van/trailer with consoles and monitors (4) set up and what they are thinking about is having a competition spread over the weekend. It will likely be 4 smaller competitions (morning and evening) over the Saturday and Sunday and then a major prize over the whole weekend.

What I was thinking was to have the major prize based off the best time set over the weekend on a easy track so that the competition was really close and then a number of other smaller comps throughout the weekend. I also hope to find guys doing extremes but not sure who will turn up? Hopefully they have avatar codes and stuff also?

None of the details have been confirmed yet but they have asked that I go along an help out so I will be working there for a couple of days. Now when I say working I should clarify, Like Shifty said I am going to be pretending to do his job, but he gets paid for it and I don't! Still entry to the event and hopefully some other swag is enough to get me along to this!

If there are any Aussies reading this and you are going to the Expo be sure to let me know and we can catch up. I will post photos and stuff once I go so you can all check it out.

To me this is a big deal because I've never seen anything like this in AUS and this is our only gaming expo (we get PAX next year) so if it goes well, Ubi may want to do more of this.

Damn, if only there was a tournament for us people on the other side of the world. Sounds like a great experience and a lot of fun!
