I haven't had any other issues with 1000 Heroz recently until Day 470 (Thornhilda). For her and subsequent courses 471 and 472, despite hitting three gold stars, the artifact, while awarded, is not displayed. I just get the rotating cartoon arrows that show it is loading. I'm still on the most recent update of iOS 5. I have closed the app completely out and restarted it in the multitasking menu, and also restarted the phone. Somehow, I don't think this is one that updating to iOS 6 would fix, although I'm not ignoring the possibility; it's just that if this is an actual issue with legacy iOS 5 support, I'd rather wait until the minor bugaboos in 6 are ironed out. Any suggestions?
Hi Brunsworks,
I am having the same issue with the relics. I am on an iphone4 with iOS 6 right now and it's just the loading arrows.
Very odd. All relics from 1-469 display normally (as far as I know; I only checked a few relics back, but everything before 470 looks fine).
Same here... was wondering if it was just me. Glad to know it isn't. Maybe it is the same problem with the 10 day again...
That's a good question. Sadly, I know nothing of how the app is structured for pulling info from what I assume would be databases and/or libraries set up by RedLynx. But I'm sure they'll nail it down in a short while.Originally Posted by TheRobZ
Sorry, I was on a mini-vacation (in Sweden :3) and didn't notice this until now.
We had a little incident on the server somewhere around Sunday. The /home/ partition got full (where the relics and other static stuff are) because the http://www.redlynxtrials.com website got broken on the Evo part and this made the website output useless & huge errors logs at about two megabytes a second. I wasn't (or anyone else afaik) aware that this was even a possibility. Anyway, the relics are all on the server already, but most of them are completely hidden (just in case someone decided to get (by hacking) the URL of the relics and see them beforehand) and a script "unlocks" one of them daily. There's a small buffer in case of random errors and this is probably why this wasn't noticed before. The script happened to run once during the time the HDD was full and this apparently broke the queue. So far I have no idea why, even though I'm the one who wrote the scripts
Anyway, it's all fixed now. Thanks for reporting it. In the future you should use support@redlynx.com for urgent things like this. It's read daily (or maybe even more often) by Jonne and I get a copy of the message instantly via email.
Thanks! Yep, definitely seeing relics this end. I'll use the support email address in future.Originally Posted by AnttiKi
