Hey forum!

As you can see, I'm new. Let me introduce myself first.
I am from Germany, near Berlin. Last year in August I met JJtheGerman, who is - as far as I know - fairly known here. ^^
We played the Trials Evolution Demo there for severals days and competed in the Contest.

I am a big fan of Gears of War and Trials.
I started playing Trials three years ago, when Trials HD was released. This game has the best learning curve I've ever seen!

I'm not the best Trials rider (of course, otherwise you would've known me already from the leaderboards ) but I would say, I'm way above average.


Anyway, after Epic Games messed it up with the Gears franchise, which is becoming more and more a cheap copy of Call of Duty which used to require skill to be good Trials is the last remaining game which requires pure skill.
Although I think Trials Evo is a little bit easier than HD, but it could just be my skills, that enhanced over the years, I don't know.
I hope, joining Ubisoft will not make you like all the other developers who release their games unfinished and, even more important, without needing skills just to get quick money.


So thank you RedLynx for creating this masterpiece called Trials which is so simple, but yet so in-depth and kept me playing for several hundred of hours!

Trials evo is awesome and replaced gears as my main game. Just wish I had been around during HD days and I'd probably be a lot better.

To be fair I still play a couple hrs of Gears most nights, it's not so bad if you don't take it too seriously

Ich muss sagen, dass ich vorher schon die Leaderboards gestalked habe. Mindestens 50% der genannten sind besser als ich.
Da würde ich mich voll schlecht fühlen. :B

Yeah, I was very active there until November last year. But the developer's obstinacy and the huge influx of new members who where all for fun with the Retro Lancer and Sawed off only and against bringing back some skill made me leave.
I had a couple of huge threads where nobody was rude or anything, we just wanted to make the game more competitive again, but they were locked...

It hasn't replaced Gears for me, I still play it.

Yep, I was damn serious on that game. I am very ambitious!
But I don't take it serious anymore. Actually I stopped taking games serious in general.

Are we even allowed to talk about other games in here? I was looking in the terms of use but haven't found anything. The Epic Games forums are very, very strict.

We're VASTLY more relaxed than Epic's forums here man, most users are pretty mature and know which lines not to cross without mods having to jump in every 2 posts

Vergiss das mal ganz schnell. Bei uns geht es nicht darum wer die größten Eier hat sondern darum das wir uns beim Bauen helfen und Spaß haben. Selbst wenn Ich regelmäßig im MP am abkacken bin.
