Re: I wont be supporting the new DLC or any future game from

I can totally relate to this issue, and personally respect the opening statement. In a way it might be that the lack of communication from us has escalated things even more. Of course there are always the things we are legally forced to not to say. But right now I'm thinking screw it, the fans deserve more, you deserve more. It is always easy to keep blaming things for screw ups afterwards, but anyway here's my few cents on this.

Have to agree that probably a lot of TC was added too late in the development cycle. Not all the tech parts were available (as it rarely is in an ambitious project), and adapting the game to work with them is always a task. There are already some enhancements made for the Menu parts but still, this is a new area and we keep on following how it works and how it can be improved. And now we have had also the DLC under development, which everyone here wants to do, but to have it ready naturally also takes time. In the future it is really promising to know that through Ubisoft, we now have more resources at our disposal. There are still some improvements that take priority before making fixes or "nice to have" improvements for TC. There is still hope for Track Central to develop further. At launch in April there were issues, eg I managed to download and play at least 20 tracks at release until it crashed, but as we have been following and developing it further, seems that it’s all the time going forward.

I don't think I'll be buying the DLC either.

Ubisoft rushed them to get this out - even after it was delayed. It's confirmed now with what irpx said. The TC interface was added to late. And instead of finishing it, they released it.

Same with the front tire - really? Who thought that was a good idea.
When I go over obstacles my bike throws forward, and I have to lean back and it almost always results in a crash. The Groundhog tracks first second obstacle is a good example. Nobody had this problem in THD.
My downloaded tracks are a mess. I can't even have the same users tracks next to each other when sorting by users? Lol, good one Redlynx.

    Misc. stuff
No replay for my offline scores either. You're not suppose to downgrade your games.
The in-game track listing is kind of difficult to figure out [mostly for newcomers]. Why can't I be told what difficulty each thing is before I select it
All of TC. THD version was a lot better. Harder on track makers but atleast it worked.
Lack of communication w/ the devs.

I Prob Will be buying the DLC, not to sure yet? yes more tracks, bikes and new editing tools are all great, but is the game still going to crash all the time? I know TC was fixed (again) but a solution to this problem hasnt come about and we dont really hear anything thats being done about it, its like its been swept under the carpet and they hope weve all forgotten about it or just plain accepted nothing is going to be done.

My Xbox is a computer, if it keeps on crashing then its going to damage the hardware .... youre game is slowley killing my hardrive! The longevity of my xbox is far more important than a game!

Personally i`d like to hear from the Devs about this, have they worked on it, is it going to improve at all?

Good or bad news, just some news specifically on this issue would be nice!

I wont support any future DLC or games because I know for a fact RL wont fix the horrible 3rd world mess that the whole menu/sorting system is for TC.

You may as well quit playing video games altogether, then. There is no such thing as a perfect video game. RedLynx is a small [pseudo]-independent development team. They aren't any kind of dev giant with hoards of programmers. Furthermore, this is a not-so-weighty downloadable title.

Give RL a break, buddy guy.

That's BS. Track Central has its problems, but in THD, you couldn't download a track from the creator unless you were on their friends list. Meaning you had to send someone a message asking for their tracks, if they didn't respond or said no, you didn't get their tracks. I don't see how that is better than TC now. I'm not trying to say TC is the best, but it's a huge improvement over THD's track sharing system.

@irpx - It's definitely a lack of communication. All I see is Shifty saying "Sorry for the inconvience, we're working on it, blah blah blah". Then the same things happens a week or two later. It doesn't seem like anyone wants to tell the community this is what we're doing, this is what's being fixed. If that's against policy that's the dumbest ******g policy I've heard of. Also, putting out DLC before fixing any of the the bugs in your game doesn't help.
