and then i saw his stand-up gigs and listened to all the radio shows, podcasts and audiobooks that he did with karl pilkington and steve merchant and he became one of my favourite comedians. i think if you can look past that cheesy arrogance he has, he is quite likeable.. very intelligent, witty and hard-working. but i agree he's not for everyone.
and karl pilkington is just the funniest man on the planet
Ricky Gervais is one of my favourite comedians, loved the office and extras was genius. I first saw Karl Pilkington on a DVD extra from Ricky's Politics. It's called Meet Karl Pilkington, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I think seeing Ricky Gervais pissing himself laughing at him makes it even funnier!
