Can you imagine a new engine for a game. Not the same one they used for the last 5 games *cough cough* Call of Duty.
That looked impressive. Surely only top end pc's can produce that kind of quality? It actually looked real.

That's pretty cool. Reinforces my argument that there is far more artistic effort being poured into games than all the other mediums in the entertainment industry combined. I might have to snag that game when the time comes, even though I'd much rather shoot humans than aliens in my games.
At the same time, I find it interesting that we are awestruck by somewhat accurate simulations of reality, but we are usually uninspired by actual reality.
