he is still playing the game activly and he says he gives feedback on peoples tracks and that stuff certainly qualifies him for it, its up to redlynx to see if other people don't deserve it more

Let me say something: I've recently thought hard about what it means to be a True Fan, and I've decided that I don't need letters next to my GT to know that I am one. While there is a decent amount of individuals that deserve TF in the list (Morrillo, Retribution, Zero Fault, Vladiiiiiiii, Morfy Boy, etc.), I also feel that there is a fair amount that take away the value of the title.

Redlynx specifically stated that it will be handed out to those who did more than just played Trials, and here is the problem:

1. The title should have been re-thought. A True Fan is one that is dedicated to the game. Nothing more.

2. It was clearly a sneaky way of getting the community to advertise their game. Showcases, Reviews, Streaming, Contests, etc: It's all advertisement.


I once advertised this game with no reward in mind, purely because I loved it, and felt like I wanted to support the developers as much as possible. Now, things have changed. I will always be a fan of Trials, but I will no longer advertise the game until they bring back the community communication they once had, and fix the many issues that plague Evo.

I just wanted to quickly thank everyone. RL first and foremost. Great group of guys.
Thanks also to those who nominated me, and for all the congratulations. Very humbled by all this. I wish good luck to all others who may be up for the next ones. Hope all deserving parties get theirs...thank you all again very very much.

On a side note, I'd like to see all the guys who have been hosting, judging and donating time and prizes for ALL the comps get one now. Now that I've been involved with two comps, I can honestly say it is truelly a monumental task to put a fine tooth comb through all these incredible tracks. And then having to pick the best 5 for example out of 40+ great tracks is head racking. It takes a lot of time and effort and is all for the communities good only, there isn't any personal gain from it, we just get to take all the heat lol. Also, donating prizes and the time to do all this is incredible and kind. I can personally vouch for how much personal time and money it takes to pull it off. Shipping 5-10 prizes around the globe is very very costly. Again, all done for the community only. My hats off to everyone who donated time, artwork, prizes and headaches to pull off these comps.

I will also nominate iSpeedRunNaked. Lots of people have said a rider doesn't deserve it for riding...but...this guy exceeds what the casual rider does. Who has taken the time to get on top of a leaderboard more than this dude? I remember as a rookie builder, hoping to see names like his on my leaderboards. It carries weight for a builder for sure to know such a highly skilled rider liked it enough to put in that time. I bet if TC leaderboards got thrown into the global leaderboards we'd find him number 1. He gives feedback and advice to tons of builders from what I'm told, and one other thing to consider, all u who disagree about his noms, top riders for global are playing the "game", since the beginning he has devoted HIS riding time to the communities endeavors. Even if he doesn't get a tf my hats off to him as well.
And just so everyone knows, he isn't a close friend of mine, I've never even spoken to the guy personally, but I definetly recognize his efforts. He gets no kind of global credit for being number one on TC. now everyone quote me and add a +1 for these dudes!

its not about his leader-board placement...its about him forgoing the global leader-boards to dedicate his energy to the COMMUNITIES' tracks. He is easily the most devoted custom track rider out there. that deserves some recognition IMHO.

the way i see it redlynx just made the mistake to give the true fan too youtubers that early with no real reason besides posting vids on youtube and marketing reasons, then they recieved messages from others that they also made vids and wanted tf too

except those i don't think any have gotten it for advertising reasons and they all deserved it
and in my oppinion over half of the youtubers do too
the others i don't know and don't know their channels so i can't tell how passionate they are and if they still play the game

for 1 i would add "and goes beyond just playing the game"
for 2 youtubers were done for advertising yes but besides that all others were because of 1in my oppinion
