Despite your best efforts redlynx, it seems that trials evolution is fundamentally broken. I've grown increasingly tired of wondering if track central will be working when I want to play, and am tired of seeing hours of work put into tracks get pissed away because stats aren't accurately kept. I'm tired of my console freezing randomly, and the freezing carrying over into my other games because the repeated crashes have begun to affect my hard drive. the repair patch seems to have had little effect on how the game plays, and had no effect on the editor freeze whatsoever. I rarely play multiplayer anymore because its so laggy its pathetic. I have speeds up to 25mbps, so I know the issues aren't on my end, but with the multiplayer lobby that frequently kicks people out. Trials hd had nothing like these issues, and while I may be comparing an apple to an orange, one would think more testing would have found these fatal flaws before inflicting them upon your loyal fan base.
isn't it about time you got serious about fixing this game once and for all, rather than wasting time building tracks to divert attention away from the underlying flaws? Or even better, how about returning some of the points it took to purchase an incomplete, buggy game. At the least, you should consider free dlc to those of us who have been suffering through your growing pains whilst you try and sort this mess out.
Sincerely disillusioned,

Trials Evo is what I'd refer to as a "Back Beauty".
From the back she looks stunning and you'd slam it all night long, but then she turns round and you realise just how ugly it can be.
Agreed. Honestly, I'm thinking of just giving up, trying to beat Dark Souls, coming back in a month, and hoping things are better by then.
+1 this is gettin ridiculous, you are losing your people redlynx!!Originally Posted by ratrod
I agree that noone wants to see a buggy game released. But I sometimes think people forgot what they paid for this game compared to COD, BF3, Forza and countless other games. All of those games were released broken as well and some of them take many months to get fixed. This is an arcade game, from a smaller company and so things are bound to take longer to fix. They cant simply throw money at it the way that EA or T10 can, so it takes time for everything to get sorted. At around £40k to submit a patch, you want to get as many fixes in as possible, make damn sure that works properly and try to avoid having to submit another patch at another £40k.
I'm sure RL dont want these issues either. I just hope they can get them fixed before a LOT of people leave. Otherwise I fear the player base is going to shrink rapidly.![]()
Sure, the game doesn't cost as much as a full retail release but that's no excuse. The game freezes on me daily. It freezes to the point that I have to unplug the power to my Xbox which I'm sure isn't good for the console if done 100s of times. Of course this is in addition to the fiasco that it Track Central. It really sucks to see so many creators releasing fantastic tracks now only to have the track lost and forgotten once it falls from the "New Trials" feed.Originally Posted by Barrybarfly
Your new track "Village Run" is freaking fantastic, Barry and although I'm quite happy you released it for us Trials fanatics to enjoy, I almost wished you had waited so the track would've gotten more exposure. On that thought, I'm going to nominate it for TOW lol.
press the power button on you xbox for 4/5 seconds it will power down, this is the same of PCs, its kind of like a force shut down, still not a great thing to have to do, but has to be better than unplugging.Originally Posted by KaliniuS
Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if this worked on the slim models as well. I'm sure I'l have an opportunity to do this later on today lolOriginally Posted by dasraiser
Its strange, I hardly ever freeze and yet a lot of other people do. Probably why that isnt such a major pita for me! lol

Haha we call that a kronenbourg, looks 16 from behind but when it turns round looks more like 64.![]()
