Hey guys!
I'm in the middle of making a kind of 'scary' (if you like) track & it's on a foggy road, I've been trying to get things to come flying out at the driving line & the camera, but I watched the tutorial from cannibal shogun & I copied everything he said, yet for some reason my objects just snap to the position. They don't 'float' to it like on the video.
Can anyone help me make them float to the end position? Thanks!
I'm uploading a video now how to trigger animations, might be able to help you. Will link here needs few minutes.

Its not live yet, but heres link. Should be about 15 mins
The way I used the curved data source is most likely what you are looking for in movement wise. Also set to some numbers start end duration, and then check the different equations to see which you like the best.
Yeah, I think it is the curve data where I'm going wrong, because in the tutorial shogun already had it set.
I'll watch the video as soon as it's live, thanks again!
most likely your curve data sources are reading the game clock so any duration you set starts reading the moment the game clock starts. for example if you set the duration to 3 seconds and it takes you 10 seconds to get to the trigger that activates the OPE then the 3 seconds have already been long gone. disenable the curve data sources and turn them on with a state on event at the moment you want things to happen and it will read the duration time from then. hope that helps.
Thank you for writing out whats in my video lol btw, its not"reading the game clock" The data source is just doing what its told. So it will do its thing, but WAY before you want it. Which is why you need the trigger and state on event for the curved data source.Originally Posted by BlueMageFTW

think maybe you can read your phone texts and get back to me mr hapauge?...
oops... you just messaged me lol. thanks, good idea bro. sometimes my methods are effective but sooo primative...
I was helping this fine fella and making a video SORRY!Originally Posted by BlueMageFTWbtw I did text you back lol (and my phone wasn't by me anyway)
That actually really helped! Thank you!
Thanks bluemage, but it's always easier to see it done that read it I think![]()
