Simply how? I have no idea and would love to know, as i'm starting to take real interest in Ninja tracks, and some of the better Ninja tracks that aren't complete gimmick fests involve them. I've watched replays and made a track with different steepness of hills to practice on but I just don't get it. Can anyone put into words how you do it or is it just keep going at it until it clicks?
I hate this move personally but here's how I do it.
Lean forward, lean back and lift the front wheel to about the 1'o'clock position, hold brake. As you reverse keep a close eye on your balance, if you start to tip back too far release the stick till you're ok again. If you tip forward you can release the brake, hold back on the stick and reapply it after you've rolled downhill a bit and got your balance again. Ultimately it's just practice but it's easier than it looks and when you get the hang of it you just need to learn to bunnyhop backwards onto slopes and you're set![]()

honestly: that move is a b!tch!
I played one of monza`s tracks and can manage the reverse wheelie and a few bunny hops, but as soon as the height changes, im dead.Originally Posted by Jake1782
The way i do the wheelie is to flick the rider forward and then backwards, holding back until he is in wheelie postion, i then let go of the stick, hold brake to reverse and every now and again pull the riderback again to bring the wheel back up if its getting low, if u push the rider forward at any point and then correct he will bunny hop .... d/l one of the Monstabonza tracks and just watch the replay to get the idea
good luck .... ure gonna need it![]()
My tracks Deranged and Berserk are 100% reverse wheelies and hops. Watch those replays and they should help
