Why is it that in public online trials, whenever Gigatrack comes up people vote for it?
Am I the only person who votes against because I always get 5 minutes in and people start leaving-the very people who voted for it in the first place? It is pointless to me to make others endure this track that you yourself can't be bothered to even finish...this problem is made more the worse when the host leaves and it ends the game or everyone leaves and it ends the game...
Should I just slow down and let them win, or leave asap or what?

When I used to play online if gigatrack got voted for I just leave. It's not worth my time to play one track for 7 minutes when I could play 2 other matches in that time.

I think people vote for it because its got a high chance of only one or two finishing therfore guarateeing 1st place most of the time. People leave on the track because they know there not going to finish so they quit....

Lol no xpro. Was saying thats how the track is seen in general. Its a track where you have a good chance of getting 1st overall. Its an all or nothing track

One of the most exciting MP races I've been in was on Gigatrack. Two players left almost immediately , but the guy that was left and I raced it out all the way and there were never more than 2 seconds between us. He ended up beating me by less than .200 seconds (around 6:48 total time).

Of course, that was the exception; usually I leave right after Gigatrack is chosen.

I played a match once where gigatrack was voted for twice in a row, both rounds. I quit the second time. Playing that track once is just annoying but back to back is torture.

I don't mind playing it every now and then. I usually vote against it, and more people are voting against it now than in the past. I'll choose it if I'm behind in points and want to make people DNF.
