A good track usually has way more than 5-6 hours. Thats usually 1/3 of my tracks.Originally Posted by oRziPsyKoZ

I think you should make a fixed version.

Psykoz, I guess it's just about how the person perceives the track, sometimes they aren't going to be satisfied if they don't finish it and think that the obstacles in the track held them back from doing so, it sounds like an excuse, but it's somewhat true. For example your space track that you recently did, it was fine until the 2nd last obstacle I think it was, where you had to fall down onto a platform, and the way that you had to do so, the bike constantly kept glitching and going through it, it's simple stuff like that which prevents people from finishing the track/wanting to do it again/rating it high.Originally Posted by HpvenomZ
It's not a go at you at all, but from an objective viewpoint, it's important that the rider has a clear idea of what to do, and that there are no interferences preventing the rider from doing the obstacle such as obstruction of the view, bike glitches etc.
Also, before you release a track, make sure that you yourself enjoy doing the obstacles, and that they're hard, but fair, and add little details to do so...for example in Jamaican's track: bamboo aparatus, on the first obstacle, I told him to put something between the vertical and horizontal plank so as to make it more accessible and friendly to the rider, but still retaining the level of difficulty he wanted.
Just some tipsIt's good that you make tracks and I hope to see more.
Yeah chances are a couple of the people who played it found something so particularly irritating that they 1*'d the track or something, which can quite damage a rating. Still, 5-6 hours is a relatively short amount of time to spend on a track in comparison to how much time some people do spend. But saying that, yeah I'm sure its better than random crappy floating objects but for some reason some people seem to like random crappy floating objects, or its the creator's friends rating it up or something or other, but its just one of the things about Track Central. Use your frustration as fuel to make a track so good NOBODY SHALL 1* IT.
I'll play your track later and let you know what I think, but I'm currently trying Structural 2 and I've just got it paused on the fifth obstacle because I have no idea what the technique is lol. To anyone who's played it yet: Is it best if I just ride up all this stuff and try to frontflip onto a fender on top of the log?
(And also, dunno who got Killlard's message but after having a look at the track again, all I can say is good luck for the third-last obstacle with trying to get a viewable! lol)
I got a viewable on This is Madness hahaOriginally Posted by DannersMac![]()
Danner's, you dont need to fender grab the log you just ride up and fap to the top. Once you get to the little metal plates hit it with your back wheel and frontflip to the log so you dont lose traction. Its similar to CP4 of macs track attack.Originally Posted by DannersMac

Sorry I just couldn't find the right technique and quit after about 15 minutes (never once made it on top of the log lol.)Originally Posted by PuReNiNjA
Well done choky on getting the watchable, that's some mad steeze you got there. I just tried to get a watchable on ED and first go got to cp4 with 8 faults - only took two faults on cp3 and the throttle control at the top of the wall is perhaps the most impressive I've ever donethink I was basically stationary in a vertical position for like 3 seconds). I messed up the run and now I've gotta go out but hopefully when I get back I'll just finish it and record that little thing I do on cp3.
aww okay, if you want ill upload the individual CPOriginally Posted by DannersMac
