    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

I take back what I said about me timing out on that go on Maborosi being the worst this (or any) game has ever made me feel. I just timed out on it again, after having gotten to the last checkpoint in 11 MINUTES and I passed CP6 FIRST GO. And I made it up to the VERY LAST bit of dynamite twice, its intentionally easy but still requires care, and I messed it up both times. The first time I got over it and missed my back wheel on the next platform by less than a millimetre.

Edit: Couldn't accept it so had to go back and try again. Timed out on last checkpoint again. Someone just kill me now please kthxbai.

Having passed Cough and Cringe, I've come to the conclusion that the ramp down the blue shipping container is the hardest obstacle.

That has to be like the epic-est finish ive ever seen on such a brutal ninja track. This is why he is classified as the best level 4-5 ninja rider. Clutch doesnt even begin to describe it. Not sure why he didnt use his capture card for that run.

Probably because of the plywood at the bottom of the container. Ive gone at it full speed leaning back and i would just barely make the jump. After a few trial and error- i had better success by getting on the container in a 'leaning back' position but not holding it, then right before the jump do a left-right flick. Plywoods are very inconsistent when it comes to the rider shifting his weight, it requires a very delicate touch, in my painful experience with it.

Anyway ive averaged about 3-5 faults on Storeblock, i have 2 issues with this track. First is the very poorly designed obstacle at the 3rd or 4th checkpoint- where you have to jump off a scaffold and land on a few boards (almost as if it was a decoration used on the riding line) and jump onto the next box. Good thing its near the start. Another issue is the last half of the track has checkpoints putting you on a very steep incline, not that this is a big deal because i intend on 0 faulting it. But i can imagine it would be frustrating for alot of people- myself included when i practice a little bit at every checkpoint. It could be better but im goin to keep at it.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

Yeah wow @ TBNSoty's run... So awesome someone has finally passed it. Less than one second left.. seriously. My heart would have been in my throat so bad. Must have been such a relief to have made it in time. Mental. CP5 first go as well. With both this track and Mac's TrackAttack I seriously didn't think the last obstacle was that bad. Both times I've proved myself painfully wrong. (BTW, he mentioned to me the other day that he's not at his normal place of residence so I'm guessing he didn't have his capture card then, which is a shame. But still.)

@Retribution - I agree on everything you said. That's the technique I found works most on C'n'C, and Storeblock - yep that checkpoint is hella annoying and the main reason I couldn't really be bothered to try and 0 it. I would spend so much time just trying and failing to get past that point without faulting. And the slanted checkpoints are annoying because it can both make you accidentally slide back into dynamite when you restart, and also activate later than they should do due to the position of the rider's head, which threw me off a couple times. Still an awesome track though.
