    Re: Ninja Track Thread

Gratz Isaiah! I might give it a try later this week idk :s I mean, it took me a while to do Layden's recent track: vacation, there was just one cp which really annoyed me, it shouldn't of been too hard, but I kept faulting, so I made a practice cp and shared it X[) and that helped a bit. I'd also like to do macs track attack, I got to the cp where you have to go up the steep uphill thing, and timed out there, so maybe you and me can finish it and then post on here how we owned it

edit: timed out on llinferno again...I got up to the top section of the last cp only...2 times, I must be trying to grip onto the crate too early...hundreds of times...

edit: now going a little bit crazy

edit: made 300 faults on 3rd cp when I've passed it with 0 faults many times, I think frustration makes me play horribly

edit: going to edit until I finish this track

edit: another 500 fault run, made it to the green 3-4 times at the last cp, but nerves screwed me over, wondering how 0 fault is possible

edit: another 444 faults, reset b/c of rage, I suck beyond all belief...

edit: another 400 something faults, I feel that this is a lvl 5 obstacle, I mean this is sooooooooooooo much harder than any lvl 3 obstacle I have everrrrrrrrrrrrrr done, only got to the top 3 times this time

The retribution is harder than i thought... second checkpoint ... i got over that impossible pipe three times and end up smaching my face into the ground after a few attempts of fender hooking that green ramp. Any advice?

Camzarcar- You need to take a break brotha! Same thing happened to me while trying it haha. That's why I stretched it out over a week or so by only attempting it a couple times a day. If I got frustrated my faults skyrocketed and my nerves drained the skill right out of my fingers. As it is with anything, be patient. This way you're calm and focused as opposed to red hot pissed and maniacal haha. The only thing that encouraged me to keep at it was that I was consistently improving. The fact I couldn't do the last 2 cps meant d*ck because when I first started I couldn't even do the first cp haha. Keep it up, I look forward to hearing about your success! Oh and Mac's Track Attack is definitely in the cards (at least an attempt is), but my phalanges need a break big time. When you're done with LLI hit me up, good luck!

Hey guys I just wanted to say that it is a good idea to take breaks after over playing a track because depending on the person, you can get irritated and lose focus. Another good thing is to have multiple tracks that you are working on at a time that you can switch between every couple tries. Also playing the tracks in multiplayer with a friend can make it fun and make you learn certain things.

Good luck and feel free to add me and ask questions if needed.

I really don't want to sound like a **** to those who are strugglibg by randomly popping in but i beat L-Lake inferno (171f - 16:30). I felt inspired by the discussion going on lately and it was also a long time since i last tried it. Total timeouts would be 5 i think... plus many restarts. Last obstacle is soo much harder than the rest, this was like the third time at all that i got up there.
Camzarcar: Youll do it, it's just incredibly frustrating and taking a little break will only be good for you IMO.

I think cp5 is by far the hardest. Cp7 is one of the easier ones once you wrap your head around it IMO.

    Re: Ninja Track Thread

I got the hang of cp5 somehow.. I pass it usually in less then 50 faults. It's cp6 & 7 that gave me the most problems. I never got consistent at the two bounces on the 6th and had to use southsinger's shortcut and i passed the 7th because i finally figured out the front wheel step/bump technique and i had over 20 minutes spare to try to climb it.
