I don't know if anyone's even given it a proper attempt, but Preposterous has 7 right? And everyone pretty much agrees its unpossible. Idk how hard you're making your obstacles in comparison

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

7 seems to me a good number for most difficult ninja tracks. Grave/Mac's TrackAttack/End Sinister all have 7 obstacles. I'll probably end up doing that but I don't know yet. I'm aiming for it to be harder than Bahamut but not as hard as Preposterous or . Can't imagine I'll ever make a track this hard again 'cos it just takes SO FREAKING LONG tweaking the objects in an obstacle by one pixel at a time to see what is/isn't possible.

One of these days I'll make a track of my own when I'm not intimidated by the editor.

Wow A7X you're actually getting ridiculous now.. I forgot to say the other day as well that the bit where you're controlling going up that vertical wall on Pure 2 is one of the gnarliest things I've ever seen done on this game, and it was in a 0-fault run.

@Clutch - If you're gonna continue to get insane as well you might wanna invest in a good capture card for your replays. I know I don't have one but then I'm really not quite as good as some of you guys.

Dan are you kidding? you're way better than me. I think you're better than A7X as well. And also..Even tho i dont record in HD i still have some beast replays on my channel. Execution 0 faults i'll have C & C done real soon hope.) And i actually do have a cap card but i have a really bad computer and i cant edit videos at all.

Edit: I failed hard on quoting. im bad.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

So when tracks lag, that's all a function of the track itself right? It's not anything on my end that's possibly making it worse? Because I just cannot fathom how someone releases a track where the lag cuts the speed of the game in half, it completely ***** everything up.

I only tried it a few times because it was late at night and got my fault count to 14 from 56 which was my second pass from a long time ago. I know this one is going to be tougher than Subway and Execution though. Those only took me about an hour each to 0 after not touching them since they were released which really surprised me because I remember playing Execution for hours upon hours when it was first released and couldn't get under 4 faults. My problem is that I am an absolute perfectionist. I know I can 0 C & C, but my mind tells me to do it for first place or don't do it at all.

You should both get one if you really want people to notice you. I had 80 subscribers before I got a capture card and now that I have one I am at 244.

This was also really difficult for me to decide. Anyone can make a track with 20+ level 4 obstacles but that would just be stupid. You just have to find the number of checkpoints that balance the difficulty of the obstacles. I know Preposterous doesn't have this balance but it was my first attempt at making a really high difficulty track. Now I know better and won't make the same mistakes.

It's hard to say that anyone is better than someone because everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

Did you guys get good at Ninjas from Trials HD? because I never played custom tracks on that, because no one on my FL made custom tracks for it.

Hopefully someday I will be good enough to pass these level 4s. I've got about 9 days gameplay on Evo, obviously not all on Ninjas. The hardest track i've passed is either 'Just give up' 'Cough and Cringe' or 'MRC Slaughterhouse 3' but I think you guys rate all of those level 1s.

I was garbage at HD. I could barely even get platinum on hard tracks and only 0 faulted 3 extremes.

Cough and Cringe is level 3, don't be too hard on yourself

As for myself, I've only ever played Evo, and I have 5 days of playtime in it so far.

I never even realised ninja-difficulty tracks existed until Evo.

Yeah I agree everyone's better/worse at different things. Well, most people anyway. I'm not really fussed about uploading videos personally, but I like watching other people's. I just add a video very rarely off a tablet if I do want to for some reason.

And in regards to my new track, I'm gonna put in 7 I think. So far out of these 5, I'd say 3 of them are incredibly difficult, but the other two aren't so much. I'm thinking one more atrocity in the form of an obstacle and then I'll chill on the last obstacle so if anyone does manage to get up to it then it won't be the most distressing experience imagineable to have to rush a very difficult checkpoint with a few minutes. This should hopefully be finished within about 3 or so days, but it could take longer. It's also really only for someone who wants a serious challenge, so all I'll say is beware.
