Also once got past the pipes with 0 faults and still got more than my original 8 just on the next obstacle alone. Think I'm gonna leave it now.
    I got 7 faults & 2.05min at the last checkpoint and... fails !... I finished the track with 9 faults & ~4.17min. No platinum medal :s ...

I will re-try this track for platinum and why not beat your score

I got to the last 2 obstacles with aroud 40 faults and timed out
I really need to get better at reverse bunny hops.

The reverse bunny hop bit isn't actually that hard, just make sure you get some good ole bounces on the go. It was a lot harder on the original track, and somehow on one of my attempts on passing that track I did that second-to-last obstacle first go (still timed out on the last bit but hey).

Wesse NinZa today uploaded a re-make of The Hard Way. Due to the new physics on the Phoenix I'd say its perhaps a level 3 at most, definitely not a 5 like the original. Although I never played the original, it looks like it would have been hard as SHAT on HD's Phoenix, which it must have been for it to be agreed to be a 5. I got 33 faults on this one on the second pass. On the obstacle that Malachyte infamously refers to as the most difficult Trials obstacle ever made, I actually did first go on that second run. It's cool though, a good track. Still waiting for an Evo level 5 though.. I'm thinking I might try and make one, but I don't know if I'd be able to pass it

I am currently making one. I have 3 obstacles done. I think they are all level 5 obstacles but they might just be level 4. I'm trying to make them as hard as my skill level will allow.

Just a heads up to ninja riders. I have been working on a new ninja for the past two weeks and it will probably be out in about a week. Just something for you guys to look forward too as I really haven't seen a decent ninja since the DLC dropped.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

So....i tried playin The Hard Way again, had 180 faults first pass. Got it down to 27. I think i can get 5f at best but a zero would require alot of luck seein how inconsistent the dynamite boxes are- some goes KABOOOM so much just breathin on it, some you can nudge over. The 3rd obstacle is gimmicky where you flip over the barrel and do a fender hook, but i have other ways of passin that. I would be amazed if anyone passed the 4th obstacle first try- most difficult one on this track imo. The back half of this track is ridiculously easy to 0f tho.

This would have been a decent ninja if it werent for the MOST ******ED ending ive ever seen on a track. That singlehandly made me give this track 2 stars and was completely and absolutely unnecessary.

I pretty much agree with everything you said there, i'm not a huge fan of hopping over dynamite boxes and explosives, so i didn't put a good effort in tying to pass the track, 3rd obstacle in this version is ridicoulously easy since the barrel is not glued to the plank underneath it and you can easily push it out of the way. Haven't got past the 5th obstacle cause i got frustrated and quit at 250 faults, but the rest of the track doesn't look too hard.

Haha! The grappling hook made me die a little inside when i first tried it in the editor, but it would be good for hiding easter eggs and stuff in tracks, HIGHLY inapproprate here tho.

Btw, if anyone cares, I recently got BlazingDude's Annihilation from 4242747839 faults to ~ 160, I'm planning to get a decent score on this one.

Got The Hard Way down to 8f, if i can pass the 4th obstacle on first try, i just may be able to zero it.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

I'd love to see that. I believe I could get it to just a few faults if it wasn't for that nefarious 4th obstacle, and the fact that I can't seem to get consistent with the 3rd either. I don't think of it as thattt gimmicky because its an interesting enough idea, it's just that it would have worked better on HD. The vast majority of the faults I get is from the rider's head touching the barrell for a millisecond and of course that makes him crash, which wouldn't have happened most of the time on HD.
