Urm.. actually maybe I was wrong about TR.. just then his name wasn't on the leaderboard but he sent me a message earlier saying how he got to the last obstacle in like 12 minutes or something and the last one's really not that hard, plus the next message he sent made me think he did it, but uhh, maybe he didn't lol.
Anyway if I can get this video edited I'll post it up pretty soon, hopefully. BTW sorry to have basically hijacked the thread into the 'oh wtf this ferox track omg' section.
Edit: OK I was gonna ask stoobs to edit it for me but that doesn't look like it'll be possible anymore. Anyone have the ability to do that for me? I would but my comp crashes whenever i try... ¬¬
Would love to watch a full run of Ferox so i can see what all the fuss is bout.
Quick question, I am thinking of making a little montage accumulating all the nifty moves ive pulled off since release, mixing up speedruns and ninjas both, and i hope to aim it in the range of 5-7 minutes long. Thinking of disabling the engine sound and placing a well-fit song, now obviously this would be beyond my control but if i were to do this, would anyone volunteer to help cover the sound aspect? Mainly just helpin pick out a song and making sure it synces nicely with the video, etc.
If anyone wants to be a sweetheart, please let me know!

Let's go Dan! Nicely done. Level 5?? I think so.
I'll help as much as I can!Originally Posted by Retribution
^^Thanks man. Apparently half of my custom runs crashes halfway through the track so recording them again is out of the question. I will have to use IDM to download all my vids from my channel then use FRAPS to re-record them since Sony Vegas Pro will not open a compressed video file for obvious reasons. Looks like ill have some editing to do before i can put it all together and send it to you.
I just hope Youtube will not take it down due to "copyright infringement". Should i edit the song name and author in the video or just give credit in the description? I have no idea how that works because ive seen people do the same thing and one gets taken down and the other untouched.
Doesn't matter if you edit the name or give credit. YouTube knows what song you are using. It is really a coin flip when it comes to copyright. Obviously the record label decides how they are going to handle it. Some videos will only play in certain countries when you use their songs. Some will just throw an ad in your video and a link to their song under your video. I have only had 1 song (Avenged Sevenfold) that was completely blocked in most countries and on all portable devices (phones, ipads, etc.).Originally Posted by Retribution
What I would suggest is have someone make a random test video that has the song in it that you want to use. Upload it and see if you have any issues. If you don't, then you know it will work for your montage.
Just make sure to go to your "Video Manager" in YouTube once you upload the video. It will say "Matched 3rd Party Content" Just click on that and acknowledge that you are using their content. After that your video should work fine!
I would also like to point out that I never "partnered" to use custom thumbnails so I am unsure if that changes anything. I remember you or someone else saying in your YouTube thread that if you choose to partner than you cannot use copyrighted material. You should hopefully be able to find this out in your "test video"
Hope this helps a little
Danners, check your pm
