It should be in new trials for the next bit. It's called Ruins of Yakitori. Search me if its not there.

    Thanks!
The obstacle where you have to make the rider get under those circular bits of wood.. Yeah I had to give up, sorry. I appreciate the idea and understand where you're coming from but I don't feel obstacles like that are really suited to Evo. They would have worked better on HD but when the rider's head has the hit points of a plastic fork then it just becomes frustrating really quickly.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

After finishing my latest video (saving corrupted replays), ive decided to stop playing level 3+ or higher ninjas. Ive grinded out so much this past week tryin to pass Lake Inferno, Way to Paradise, and a few other level 4s. I have timed out at every single obstacle with some form of wheelie planks and its not been fun for me. Ill just have to accept the fact that i can speedrun the lower ninjas but not even pass the higher ones.

And i think ill be taking a few days break from Trials altogether, ive noticed myself goin on autopilot after playin more than a few minutes each day and not as sharp as id like to be. Hope to shake that rust off by the weekend. Peace!

Hmm, fair enough. I mean level 4s are supposed to be really, really hard. No-one finds them easy, and chances are you're gonna time out on them no matter how good you are. I'm sure you could pass higher levels if you really want to. I can't begin to describe how long it took me to pass LLI for the first time (and, even much longer than that for Maborosi). If that's not what you're into then ain't nothing wrong with that. I personally prefer passing a level 4 to getting a fast time on a level 1, but then again its probably cool for you and A7X 'cos you're gonna be getting the number 1 spot lol.

I had just read a few people saying they were wanting to see different types of obstacles so that was the gap I was trying to fill. What did you think of the other obstacles?

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

Yeah that's cool and believe me when I say I really, really do appreciate people trying to make creative and different obstacles. I just personally couldn't for the life of me do that one. I like the idea and I still feel there's a lot of room for obstacles involving the sudden change in the rider's posture due to the physics, but it just seemed too hard perhaps in this instance. I can't say I can completely remember the whole track but I did like the very first bit. At first it seems basically impossible but then you spend a few minutes doing trial-and-error until you figure something out that works, and that's cool.

    Keep it up I say.

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

So friggin annoyed. first try on southsingers new track I was at the last checkpoint in 91 faults, I then tried and tried and tried and tried and tried again and I couldnt pass the last checkpoint, hit the 500 fault limit a few seconds short of half hour. What level is that track anyway?

    Re: NINJA Track Thread.

He called it a 2 but its a 3 if you ask me because of that second-to-last checkpoint. That last one's really not too bad once you realise you can rest of the red box, and you can also rest on the cement bags. If you watch my replay you'll see how I go about it (can't remember what SS does on it), but it can be easy to fault on getting onto that red box.

wat, that's really ******g good. I didn't even make it past the pipes until 100ish faults.

I'm inclined to agree that it's a level 3 as well, and the leader-boards certainly support that imo
