If Lynx Lake Inferno is only a 4, then Overdose isn't quite on that level yet.

Are there lvl 5s out there?

I'm wondering that too. I thought Lynx Lake Inferno would be a level 5.

I think Malachyte is the only person who can decide that.

There were only three Level 5 ninja tracks ever made in Trials HD, so claiming that a track is a level 5 is kind of a big deal. Therefore I decided to call it a level 4.

That makes sense. I've been wondering what exactly a track needs to do in Evo to qualify as a level 5?

I moved Wince & Wheeze to Transitional.
I moved You Shall Not Pass up to Level 1/2.
I added More Brown Boxes to Transitional.

Anyone disagree?

For something to go a 5 in evo is going to be hard you first of all need a builder who finish a 5 because he's gotta be able to pass it to release it. When one comes along it will take a few people to agree that it's a 5 before it gets moved there.

I don't personally feel there up to scratch for the list. Bit decent lines, but not really that great looking. See what the others think on his two tracks.

If Pipeline is good enough to be this list, then Pure Ninja's tracks are more than good enough.

I think Pure Ninja was going for a well..."Pure Ninja" kind of feel on his tracks. No decoration, just good, difficult obstacles. Kind of like QcChopper's "Pure Trials" tracks from Trials HD. I don't mind the lack of decoration as long as the obstacles are very good. I beat Brown Boxes 2.0 and think it should be added. I beat EXTREME Technique and thought it was meh, I would not add it personally. I will work on beating the individual obstacles of Structural that he thankfully uploaded. That looks like a great track but I want to beat all the obstacles before adding it.

I think Pipeline needs to be off the list. While Pure Ninja's tracks have no decoration, Pipeline just has disgustingly bad decoration. The obstacles on it did not seem very well made either, and there were a lot of poorly implemented gimmicks.

Spargokuroth just uploaded [S2-SF-N3] Tidus. This is a perfect example of why I get so pissed at people dismissively labelling tracks as gimmick...good luck

Be interested to see if you lot just lump all the gimmicks in one category or start rating them too.

There are 10 of them (nice tracks too), some might be transitional, others maybe lvl1/2...tough to separate/necessary to separate?
I might agree that more than half of them are transitional though.

I would define a gimmick track as a track that uses gimmicks in a way that is easy.

Spargokuroth does use gimmicks, but he implements them in an incredibly hard way. TBNSoty does the same thing. Even though those tracks use gimmicks, I would not call them gimmick tracks.

Just watched pipeline then and ummm well jake did you notice the whole thing was floating and nothing lined up???
I'm with Buttcheek on this one.

As for Pure ninja's tracks don't let me decide if you guys think they should be there then thus fine with me.


Spargokuroth's new one. I'm happy where that one is. Hopefully we can all tell the difference between a blatant gimmick track and a legitimate hard track.
