KillyTheBit's Tracks - Gravitron
Hi, it was said to me I should post my Tracks here.
You can leave feedback and check back if something new will hit Track Central.
Update1: Created Trials Versions of some of my Skillgames some Time ago.
GamerTag is:
KillyTheBit
Tracks are the following:
Plissken's Way
(Pretty basic trials track with some events and a tricky to drive looping.)
The Construct X
(Already picked for pure fun. Inspired by the construct aka white room from the matrix movie)
Quantum Mechanics
(Skillgame which involves the frozen state [Click LeftStick] and rotation of levelsegments [RightStick Left and Right])
Supraconductor
(Skillgame which involves the ability to attach to metal surfaces via magnetism [Hold Rb Or Lb] and boost off of them [Y])
Juggernaut
(Skillgame which involves destruction of structures [Press Y]. You can destroy wooden structures and some walls to alter the driving line. The best lines require driving skill, timing of the ability and the knowledge which structures hinder and which can help your driving line. You can [Hold Y] to keep the scrap out of your driving line after you destroyed an object.)
Quantum (Trials)
(Trials Version of the Quantum Mechanics.)
Supracon (Trials)
(Trials Version of Supraconductor. I enhanced a shortcut for this version.)
Juggernaut (Trials)
(Trials Version of Juggernaut.)
Gravitron
(Skillgame set in a somewhat wacky warehouse "OF THE FUTURE" where you'll get to control gravity [RightStick Left and Right] and freeze time [Click LeftStick] - Frozen state like in quantum mechanics)

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks
Glad you got this started man! Next time you release a track, post a reply here so that anyone who has posted can see you have a new track out!
I tried superconductor but my little brain couldnt handle it! lol
Construct was a cool idea, well executed (as was superconductor).
Quantum mechanics was awesome though. I really struggled with it but had a blast doing so. The idea has been repeated since, but never done as well as this was imo.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks
Thanks.
@ Barry. I've realised that the tracks are pretty hard to grasp for someone who starts completly fresh into it.
I always try to go easy on the first obstacles and go into full potential of the given abilitys in later obstacles.
When I build it I test a lot and after a normal building period which is about a month I have mastered the concept ...
I found that to be a real problem for most user who will download test it out and then go on.
On the othere hand some people messaged me that they spend a whole evening figuring out my maps and i love that. I often try to put intresting alternative routes in there to keep it fresh for those people.
I hope my next project will be a little easier to grasp and handel ^^

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks
supraconductor and quantum mechanics are mindblowing... not really my kinda thing, im more into straight up tracks but they are nonetheless very impressive
as has been mentioned, if theres anything constructive to offer it would be trying to take these incredible ideas and make them a little more friendly for people who aren't prepared to spend too long experimenting with new gameplay aspects and practice for hours trying to get it all smooth.
it would be a shame to turn thousands of more casual players away from such fantastic creations just because of a lack of accessibility.
anyway, keep it up and welcome to the forum

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks
Quantum Mechanics is super-super-superb. I cannot understand why RedLynx hasn't put it on their picks of the week ( I nominated you three times, damnit
).
The concept of ninja-riding your bike through the track with as few rotations as possible compared to an easier ride when using more rotations is mindblowing.

I agree with just about everything that's been said here. Your tracks are simply amazing and exude quality. Quantum Mechanics was mind-blowingly awesome.
I'm more of a fan of basic Trials tracks but there's no denying the quality of your tracks. They're so unique and inspiring!

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks
Thanks again to you all and thanks for the nominations - I was hoping for another pick if I'm honest. It's the way to reach the biggest audience, but I guess they have their reasons. There are some checkpoint issues for example which allow unintended shortcutting in both my skillgames. Maybe I will put up a slight revision of the maps, but I don't want to spam my tracklists with the same maps over and over ... - Now I'm going for my next project which works out pretty nice so far but will take some more time.

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks - Juggernaut
New Map - Juggernaut - is up. See above for details. I hope you'l enjoy the show. It's stupid fun once you wrap your head around the mechanics. Watch my replay to get a good idea how to use the ability. Thanks for playing and rating ^^

Re: KillyTheBit's Tracks - Juggernaut
Hey man, truly awesome tracks! Big fan of thinking outside the box! Quantum mechanics is just mindblowing!! Really well done! Haven't tried Juggernaut yet, but I'm sure it's great!!
I do however agree with Willyumz, amazing as they are, I just find myself hoping they were easier and more user friendly, as I don't put that much time into racing customs (as I should), and therefore easily quit and just start building myself
Also, my friends who are, to put i nicely, not anywhere near my skill level will never be able to finish for an example Quantum mechanics. I'm not saying that's your fault, I'm just saying that if you to lower the level of difficulty, I'm sure more people would play your tracks. Not saying nobody does, cause they obviously do, but the more the merrier, right?
I am looking forward to see what you build next, either way I'm gonna like it
Cheers!
