this is my situation.
i make videos of my custom tracks to post on my youtube channel..the only means i have is to record them from an ipod..this isnt ideal, but its all i have for the moment..im wanting to do montages, and although i found an excellent app through the app store to this, i still want to improve my vids..i have now installed a couple of brilliant video editors and of course there is windows live movie maker, which for a brand new lap top with the highest spec, is brilliant..
so to the point...
"how do i crop pre-installed videos to use in the video editors..they all come with trim etc but i dont know how to crop the screen size, to get rid of the replay icons that are there once ive recorded my vids from a replay"
the only thing i can think of is to play my vids, and CAPTURE them from my screen on my laptop.. IS there an EASIER, way??????????

hi morfy,
now this isnt really my thing, i get my mate to sort out vid editing for music videos we make but the program he/we have always used is virtual dub you can do it all with this m8

hi morfy, if you have any problems with this software msg me and ill bend my mates ears for you, hes a proper expert on it being using it for years, hes made music vids for all sorts of people in the music industry.

I use Sony Vegas and its crop and pan or maybe the render settings your using
