    Technique Question

I am having a lot of trouble on the types of obstacles where you go up a steep ramp and then it curves back. It always shoots me backwards and I can never get on top. An example of this type of obstacle would be Synapsis' Bell Tower, the very first obstacle.

    Re: Technique Question

I'm not particularly good at them myself but I know that you have to stop accelerating before the top of the ramp to avoid it shooting you backwards. Then when your front tyre is over hold to the brake with your back tyre in the air. Keep holding the brake until you are in a position to hop onto your back tyre and carry on. However, the one on Synapsis' Bell Tower is very hard

    Re: Technique Question

    If I remember correctly...

Bunnyhop to the bottom of the ramp and land leaning forward on the back wheel full throttle. As you touch down and start to move forward perform this motion < >, you have to practice the timing. If you get it correct you'l take the bounce out of your landind and accelerate up the slope leaning forward and wheelieing. When your front wheel clears the top, hit the brakes and lean back as you tip over.

    Re: Technique Question

The one on Bell Tower is about as hard as it gets. I suggest nipping into the editor and recreating various levels of difficulties for this obstacle and practicing on them.

A simple technique to pass the obstacles is to simply wheelie up the ramp then slam your back break on and forward lean at the same time at the last moment before your rear tyre leaves contact with the ramp. The momentum should throw you forwards, as I'm sure you've seen in the replays for Bell Tower.
