    hi all, new track uploaded called Caldera city (caldera - opening of a volcano, ish!), fast, fun, themed, set in the mouth of a volcano,
    i had so many red messages on this track i thought it would struggle on MP but optimized as best i could and with thanks to members of OTHG it was tested with 4x players, thanks for help with animation to barrybarfly, morfyboy and others, your help was appreciated.
    there was a lot of animation like spaceships flying round the city and landing, that i was just unable to do, due to maxing out everything and still having it playable.
    i was unsure about the difficulty on this track, so apologies if you think its rated wrong (med/hard)
    to complete it in a speed run your gonna need to do a few hard difficulty manouvers, but not essential to complete.
    the track was built using the phoenix, but you have the option of the scorpion and the dreaded donkey,
    if your struggling to complete with the phoenix DONT accept my track challenge, you have been warned.
    k2n track challenge: complete the track zero fault on the donkey bike.
    medal times:
    platinum = 1.35.000 0 faults
    gold = 1.40.000 2 faults
    silver = 1.50.000 4 faults

    i really hope you all enjoy this, i was trying to push myself out of my comfort zone in the editor, i think its payed off, i hope you all agree.
    a video will follow shortly.
    and the first person i see zero fault on the donkey, gets to be the rider in the video.....now dont all rush at once!

    Grr 1 fault on the donkey. Just cant do it, its too hot, too late and too irritating! lol I like the track though, although I wont mention the particular animation we think people will miss! Just want to break out a proper bike to run it, but I'm still holding out hope for that first 0 fault run on it!

    Enjoying the new track K2, but not taken up the Donkey Challenge yet (yes, I am weak )
    1.31.xxx so far, but it's so annoying when you know there is so much time left...the top guys will probably go under 1.26 I reckon...

    Caldera City looks really cool! I love just watching the replays lol. My only major complaint is that the driveline difficulty seems to take a sharp increase about 60% through. It flows nice and smoothly until you reach the part with the vertical pillars. That part isn't too difficult but it doesn't feel like it was built up enough. Maybe throwing them in sporadically earlier on and making that specific obstacle a bit shorter would've helped.

    Still, very solid track and damn, those visuals...

    This is only my 4the track so I'm on a steep learning curve,
    This track was primarily a track to test my ability with the editor and a bit of
    An experiment to see how much visually I could get to run smoothly,
    Maybe I neglected the line, but only slightly!
    all feedback is considered when building future tracks so watch this space, once again thanks for taking the time to comment.

    Cool looking track, I like the look of the city/buildings and how they come into view further and further as you curve around the track. Haven't crossed the line yet until I put a little more time into it, but I'll work on it. Nice job.
