Hi All,
Welcome to my tracks.![]()
OverBlueWaterHills
it has been built for the racers of the over the hill gang (on this forum), it is a fast paced themed track, with lots of elements to speed you up or slow you down! (if you ride it wrong). it can be completed using the 450 or the phoenix 250, there is not much in either bike just some of the obstacles are a little more difficult depending on which bike ur using, the track is easy to complete but hard to complete zero faults, so if you want to be in contention for platinum ur gonna have to run it a few times,
hope you all have fun

Thanks Emcee, yeah that hill climb at the ends a *****, but as it was for the OTHG, i thought there needed to be a hill climb in it, once you get the knack its easy.
I really wish the water was the normal colour tbh as it would have had a really good Scottish highland type feel to it. But I really enjoyed the track and I normally hate tracks that long so great job. The terrain mods have been done really well imo. Nice job.
lol glad you enjoyed it barry, i live in derbyshire so lots of inspiration all around while out with the dog
Hi All, this will be the place to view my latest creations, leave feedback, get hints and tips on my tracks etc, from now on.
Right down to business.......
Firstly thanks for all the good messages/feedback ive recieved about the OverBlueWaterHills track, it is all really appreciated, as they take a long time to make and test properly and most just get ditched out of the new track section in an instant (15mins for this one! a new record) only to be replaced by a track that has taken someone about an hour to create (ALL STAIRS TRACKS heres looking at you), so your comments of support for my tracks are what fuels me building.
THANK YOU (you know who you are)

there seems to be a problem with the difficulty on the above track as it is labelled as medium, the reason i did it as a medium is that the track is EASY to complete in under 5 faults IF you have already run the track a few times. However to finish it zero faults is HARD, unfortunately there is no option to accomodate this, so i have to pick which i think is fair and medium imo is right for this track, as there are no major obstacle nightmares to contend with. your worst enemy on this track is pressure if you have zero faulted all the way to the end hill then the pressure facing this last obstacle can make you crumble!
WARNING SPOILERS BELOW, DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO WORK THE TRACK/S OUT FOR YOURSELVES!!...........YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
on all my tracks the ground you travel over has been taken into consideration NOTHING is left to chance, so if you see a dip in the ground near where you land a jump, then use this dip in the ground as a landing ramp/take off ramp, also EVERY jump has a way to get over it correctly ie:Lean back/forward, accelerate, DONT accelerate, bunny hop or sometimes DO NOTHING, so if your struggling to get over an obstacle go through the process of trying to find out how to do it logically, there is always a way on my tracks, as stated earlier NOTHING IS LEFT TO CHANCE, so if theres a random rock lying about on the driving line, its there for a reason.
Alternatively if your really struggling message me and ill tell you how to do it.
SPOILER - OverBlueWaterHills
The final 2x hills at the end of the track
Everyone seems to be making a right meal of this obstacle so heres the solution:
after the very last jump over the bent pine tree just accelerate straight up, as your front wheel rises of the ground, which should be just before the gap in the track let off the accelerator, as soon as you land beyond the gap accelerate again (this keeps your speed going) so you can make it onto the block at the top (its not such an issue on the phoenix250) but on the 450 it is important, if you dont carry the speed you will struggle at the top, when you have cleared the gap and are accelerating up towards the block at the top you will see a block that is at a slightly steeper angle than the rest, just as your front wheel touches this stop leaning forward (pushing right on stick) you will see the front wheel rise up as soon as you leave the ramp lean forward again then immediately push left to get your back wheel down again, as i said this is only an issue if your on the 450 as you need to keep the speed up on this bike.
OK, THE FINAL HILL:
before you leave the swoopy section SLOW down you will naturaly land correctly on the block before the main climb, then when on the block just give a little blip of the accelerater which again will land you perfectly on the begining block of the main climb up to the finish, then the secret is once on the main climb hit the accelerater, THEN IMMEDIATLY LET OFF AGAIN, THEN ACCELERATE AGAIN and you will be able to accelerate all the way up nice and smoothly clearing the two remaining gaps, if you dont ease of the gas you will flip over backwards or hit you back wheel on the next gap as you go over it, thats it really, it sounds difficult folks but thats just my explaining when you know the technique it is REALLY EASY to do nearly evertime,
coping with the pressure of not wanting to fail right at the end is not so easy to deal with!
Hope this helps......If not contact me.
Ok nearly finished.........one last point
this bit is For those of u who msgd ref easy tracks only (AGAIN u know who you are)
I will never make a track that u can just ride along FIRST go and get platinum/gold, what is the point of that?? a game is supposed to be a challenge, so if the course is easy, getting platinum on MY tracks WILL NOT BE.
your comments and feedback good or bad are always welcomed
have fun and happy trialing

Hey there, I played "OverBlueWaterHills" and have to applaud you on the great visual/enviroment settings, good line & nice effects
my 2 main gripes are that the difficulty level u put it on, its not a medium .. no way, its a hard!! I`d like to think that im pretty good at the game not excellent tho (nearly got all gold on flatliners) but there are some jumps and hill climbs that i know my mate(who is a med(still using the scorpian)) wouldnt be-able to make. ( You seem to do this a lot, i played ure volcano mountain & one of the cloud islands, they were rated hard ...imo ... extreme)
my other problem is that u put bugger all checkpoints down, theres 25 use them... 4 me the more the better.
Keep it up tho, the main thing is ure tracks r fun to play ( mainly )![]()

Will check these out soon as I can mate. Weather's so nice at the mo I'm struggling to find any time to play at all.
Yeah joe, i know what you mean seams wrong to get the TRIALS bike out, when its perfect weather for the mountain bike, they will still be there to play m8 when the weather turns bad, which knowing the english weather will probably be in a couple of days!Originally Posted by JoeRegular
Also @ Green candy, thanks for the feedback and for playing its really appreciated.
