Which Tv and size do you use? | Forums

Recently I have played trials evo on three different Tv's. I use a 22" pc monitor for the majority of my game time but also used my Mum's 3d 42" and a friends HD tv which is a 38".
I found that I play worse on both larger screens I have played on in comparison to my 22" monitor. Maybe it's because I have played most of my game time on the smaller screen and am used to it, or possibly It's because I am closer to the screen unlike playing from your sofa at a distance on a larger screen.
I am currently ranked 56 on the global leaderboards and am curious to know which Tv's do the lower ranked and higher ranked players use? and have you played better on one screen campared to another?

i originally played it on a 32", ummm, Bush

but i've not noticed any difference with our lovely new 37" LG. the lag on the LG is about the same as the Bush was though. i actually would like to play it on a CRT TV with no lag at all to see if i was better on that.

I play on a 47" Lg - 120 hz. Couldn't tell ya my rank at the moment, but I did grab the 25th spot on Balance of Power, a couple months ago! Not bad, out of 400,000.

Might as well mention the Pioneer tower speakers, mounted at each side of the Tv, on the wall... and the 420 watt sub in the corner. SOUND! Better than a theater, baby.

Occasionally play on the 32" Lg in the bedroom, as well.

I play on a 37" Samsung. Currently rank 570 globally. However, when I play on any other TV for example when I'm round a friends house, I find the game a lot harder.

50' Samsung. Global rank is irrelevant to tv size, just play in your comfort zone and your skills will showcase itself, however that may be.

Im probably one of the remaining few that plays on a CRT, Mine > Sony Triniton 32", however i have also played it on my friends LCD LG 32" and found it to be a lot sharper than my CRT?

Snap, but boy was it lucky I ran the tv in for some hours before I found Trials! --- image retention / screen burn on plasmas can be awful
