Anyone making some first person tracks? | Forums

I am enjoying those the more i play them- gives me a sense of exhilaration going at high speed like Mirrors Edge. I would like to see more of those, maybe with the control tweaked as leaning back= down, and forward= up instead of default. There is one creator that has 2 of those tracks but with average driving line and scenery- i know some of you guys can work this magic. Definitely will record a vid of it if you guys ever do make one.

I had thought about making a first person perspective track but when I play the ones that have already been made, it's always one of the following:

- Just hold down RT all the way until the end. No challenge involved.

- There are precise jumps and angles you have to hit which is very frustrating to do in first person because you have no idea what your bike position is in relation to the obstacle.

But you're right. Most tracks that I've played in first person are pretty bland, scenery-wise.

Well you can always try to make one, its basically a guarantee for the 48hr rated feed.

I, for one, would like to play a coasting track (like Dab's Base Jump) with the first person camera...where everything is just a blur.

Amp im "trying" to make a mine cart run in first person view where you go down a long minecart run like something out of indiana jones lol and you have to navigate the track by switching to the right track and your only able to brake. Because minecarts dont have engines lol.

dasraiser has probably the best camera setup I've seen so far. Most of them do funny stuff when you try to backflip. He has it set up for some of the example tracks, which is interesting as it gives old tracks a new feel to them. If nothing else, try his first person camera version of Suspended. All he really needs is to make an original level that really works well with it.

Ahh thanks. This guy has Downhill Dominator and Suspense both in first person view. Just took top time on DD, workin on Suspense now. Lovin this shiznit. We need more dedicated first person track creators!
