I'm still going to make tracks, as i love this game, i just find it annoying that s all.
i mean if u spend 50+ hours on a track which some of the pro do and more time, u put it up on track central, and it lasts 20 mins, u can't say u would be happy with that scenario, for all the well known creators it doesn't really effect u guys that much as u post in the forums and because u already have a name for urself, ur track gets to be seen. it just makes it hard for less known creators who might be making really good tracks to get a name for themselves thats all.
I honestly wouldn't care if the track I've been working on for the last 2.5 months only got played by the people on my FR. Ya know why? Cuz I make tracks for myself, not others. Even just ONE person liking my tracks is a HUGE bonus.
All you whiners need to suck it up and either quit making tracks, or just be happy with the 1000+ DLs you got and move the f*%# on!! It's just a game.
Making tracks for yourself is always the way to go. As long as you enjoy playing the track, all is good! The main problem I have is when someone makes a track that takes 10 minutes to create (and is garbage), then it becomes insanely popular on Track Central, it takes up a spot where a potentially great track could be. Finding gems in TC is a chore and it's annoying.Originally Posted by bobozilla

I disagree on people who are known on here get more views as for myself fully know that I've got 7 tracks and 3 of my tracks have been downloaded, 9K on Liquid Life, 7K on Snow Go! And 3K on Gold Rush, the other tracks have just 600-700 downloads, so I don't think having a name for yourself gets you very far lol...
thats why i will always make tracks, cause i love putting them together and trying to better my own tracks
