But personally i think you hit the nail on the head by saying players should only be allowed to release one track per so often!

Plenty of top users tracks on my youtube to mate..feel free to take a look..
also.be patient..i released 9 tracks averaging 350 downloads before i started getting good d.l. and ratings.i took away feedback and comments..at first,it really got me down,cos i thought i was doing good.if you listen to feedback you learn more,but keep on building for yourself n mates...everything after that is a nice bonus..good luck..

cheers morfyboy, i have seen some of ur work before man, u got some cool tracks going, I'm working on one now, been at it a long time, i think its pretty good, but will have to see i guess what others say. i have stripped it bare a few times and started again cause it wasn't looking right but now i think its pretty cool, will be releasing it in a day or two. i will let u know, would appreciate feedback from the pros, cheers

I just played a track called Explosive Action, and there was a section that had so many nuclear explosions that I couldn't even see my bike, then you had to blindly land, and drive through a ventilation tube. Needless to say, I didn't finish the track.

The needless and senseless posting of tracks still goes on, just popped back into track central for a little look, there is a track posted three times, same thing, got another track with 2 versions, both bad bad bad tracks and both made in about 20 mins, lets pray that red lynx make a restriction on releasing tracks in a patch or something soon, i have my newest track ready to be released pretty much tonight, but I'm now left wondering if there is a point as it won't last even 1 hour on there. i have spent around three weeks on this and for all that time to be wasted would just suck.

This is the nature of the beast...you release a game with track building features and you will see people abuse it. Every online game will have people who try to spoil others enjoyment...griefers...trolls whatever you want to call it. Even if redlynx solve this problem there will be another one to follow it...thats also the nature of the beast.

One thing that can help right now as it stands, is that the builders who do care about the quality of their tracks, keep uploading them. If you are holding a track back because it wont get enough recognition you are building for the wrong reasons imo. Look at this forum...loads of people releasing tracks man. Track central has commercialised evo a bit...so you will have a shedload of people who just want to play an interactive movie and not a pure trials track. You will get numpties who are attention seeking and dropping 5 versions of the same track. I hope that improvements are made...but until they are, holding back your tracks isnt going to help, it will mean one less decent track and possibly this will leave room for one more floating staircase to annoy us all.

I noticed the same. but, I have also been noticing a lot of new good quality tracks. Keep an out, its not all bad.
