Return to River Run; a new hard track from Knot a Tumah

Return to River Run [Hard]
I saw a lot of potential for this track once I finished the original “River Run” and thought it would be far more fun to modify this track opposed to creating a new one from scrap. The result is “Return to River Run” where our friendly, easy, peaceful community is destroyed by lava flows.

Re: Knot A Tumah's tracks: new easy track "River Run"
This is not a bad track man....the screen tear at the start could be removed by changing the cedar tree, its a massively complex object and as you can see later in your track those pine trees are far more friendly to the frame rate (there is another area of tearing later on also where you just added too many trees close to the line )
I didnt like the part where you go through the pipe...that was my least favourite obstacle..and when you through the porch there is a warning sign just floating there which I guess you forgot about?
However, I really liked the design and line on this track...it has a nice mellow morning feel to it and the scenery/deco fits well, I think you did a great job of carrying out the theme you chose, and the line is one that has replay value to me...my mrs is playing it now and wont give me the controller back.
Keep updating your thread with future tracks mate!

Good track but the sign floats, there are two odd bits of rope hanging onto the low route under the bridge and I hate the porch head hit section! lol Rest of it is good though and looks nice as well.
On an interesting side note emcee....I dont get any screen tearing at the start and I'm running 1080i and I know you're on 1080P. I wonder if the progressive scan makes screen tearing more prevalent?

I'm super happy that you guys really liked the track! I really appreciate the comments.
I originally had some tearing with the tree and found that tearing occurred when I had vegitation (trees, bushes) in the center of your viewpoint between the bike and camera; after removing/moving a few problem plants and adjusting max draw distances I no longer had any tearing. Saying that I'll make sure to have a bit more space between the player and larger trees.
For the pipe I knew it would be hit or miss if people would like it; a one-trick segment that really only happened due to the mellow nature of the track. It was, however, was a nice transition that filled a void between the bridge & previous hill. Any particular reason it isn't good? I'm not out to do another pipe segment soon so I'm not too partial to it.
For the floating sign I probably just miss-placed it; angle of the editor camera & all. I'll get on tonight and check it out to see what you guys are seeing. The ropes I couldn't do much about them; pretty stubborn objects for something that is supposed to be soft & lose so without a rope-knot object I'm pretty much left with dangling them wherever (edit: found the knots today and feel silly now, heheh). Then again I spent a lot of time using bushes to hide things, why not ways to hide rope ends? Something I'll definitely consider for the future. Since I'm trying to take best care of my environment & theme I really appreciate these comments, thank you!
