Hi,

Perhaps its a shameless bump and creation of a new thread but I was worried people would miss this in the older thread. I've made a large HD map of the in game editor world. Hope you don't mind me posting again but I really wanted everyone to see this. Really makes you appreciate the in game world.

I had a heap of trouble making this map and you will notice that it is not a clean rectangle. The issue I figured out was that because of the changing elevation, the perspective was warped and as a result the map looked larger in parts where the terrain was higher. There is nothing I can really do about this and as a result I thought I'd just release the map as is. Images taken at a constant elevation of 400m above sea level. All up there is 138 images taken at 720p stitched together. I used Photoshop auto-blend option after manually aligning these and then touched up a few images manually.

If it is possible for a Redlynx person to make this better using their tech then feel free, but for now this version should be more than good enough.

I note that this is NOT perfect and you will see some parts that dont line up or whatever. It is the best I could do and I really did not want to spend more time trying to make it perfect when I know it is not possible.

Always happy to hear feedback. If someone wants a different version feel free to ask. no promises but I will try sorting it out for you.

MASSIVE thanks to Euphoric Fusion as he made a custom mini game that was just for me to use as a camera for this. Saved me SOO much time so thanks buddy. really appreciated it.

EF knows how I feel about him. It was a last minute addition to put my name and logos because that blank space needed something. Please forgive me!
