4 if it's clearly a good track but not my cup of tea.

    i don't really mark things 3 or 2. it's either 1,4 or 5.

so i give tracks 1 if they are golf/baseball mini games which involve the bike, or if they are tracks i just don't like for any reason at all. sparse background (ie no effort), poor flow, boring, slowdown, etc etc.
Exactly like this. I've only used 1, 4 and 5. I think this is because I'm usually pretty sure about a track before I download it, and it gets a 1* if I'm wrong.

whoah, back the truck up mothers.

you can give a track 0 stars? i just thought i wasn't rating it if i gave it the "no stars" option.

if someone can confirm this then i'll change my formula to 0, 4, and 5

I'm sure you can't. No stars is just no rating which wouldn't affect the overall rating at all.

nope u can vote 0 stars if u want, it should effect the rating system as it registers that u have voted( rather than pushing "B")

Wrong. If no stars are shown, it is not rated. The ratings go from 1-5.
