Re: tourny help
I always wait a minute or two before I start the last track, usually helps me!

Ive heard a lot of top riders say dont try too hard. Ease your mind by listening to music or something.
I agree with them

Learn that there are two possible outcomes. You zero fault the track or you dont. If you dont then you can try again, so learn to accept that both outcomes are equally acceptable to you and you will enjoy stress free riding!

Re: tourny help
I suggest going at a moderate pace. Obviously trying to go as fast as possible is a bad idea because it can easily lead to a fault. But I also think that being too cautious also leads to more faults.
Practice each track before hand and figure out the easiest least-likely-to-cause-a-fault route that you can do at a medium speed.

+1 for what buttcheek said
less faults gains way more points than a faster time too

Re: tourny help
For me it helped when I stopped being cautious. Being overly cautious makes you run the obstacles in a different way than what you're used to and sooner or later this will probably mess you up. Of course you don't have to do the sickest time savers either that you will pull off one in ten tries, but just try to ride as naturally as you can. Think of it as a multiplayer game where you're kind of comfortably winning, but not comfortably enough to allow you to do the start-stop-start-stop on every obstacle.
And chill out. Take this from someone with well documented bad nerves.

Re: tourny help

Re: tourny help
My strategy is to keep trying. If you fault on the last track just calmly start again. Eventually you'll be so used to getting to the last track you won't have any adrenaline.

Re: tourny help
If you're so nervous about the last track, then practice it in single player a ton and then you'll be good to go.
