Watch a few different ones and keep trying to figure it out and you will get it eventually
I played against your ghost and even on an average run I was .800 up after that hill so if you can get the start of the track down you can easily get a top 50 place.
Thanks a lot

Guess i'll just keep trying, the leaning forward then back to clear the gap is very helpful, I assumed like most bunny hops it would be back then forward but I did notice on the replay that people weren't doing that and were doing a lot of minor stick movements on the hill. Thanks for the clarification.
EDIT:
So I tried it for a while and the problem is keeping the speed up the hill to actually clear the gap, the top replays don't seem to lose any speed when they land but it seems like my whole bike is bouncing around when I land meaning I then don't have the speed to properly clear the gap. I clear it, just, but I land too short and bounce when I land meaning I then don't have the speed for the little wooden ramp to land going down hill. The only thing I can think of to fix this is the right-left-right-left motion on the stick whilst climbing the hill that the top replays seem to do. However, whenever I try this my bike hops and I lose traction completely. Do you know what the stick movements whilst climbing the hill are for and if they're essential?
