You should at least lose XP when you quit, even if it's not much, and have it count as a loss maybe. That would stop people from quitting just so they don't get a loss

Be worse at the game. It's the only solution. Everyone wins.

Im rubbish but relish the challenge of the top players... always get whipped mind you!

However, there are a few near the top of the MP leaderboard (not mentioning any names) that are notorious for quitting if they think you might beat them..

My solution has been to use another gamertag. Obviously it doesn't work for ever and your not gaining MP Points but I play trials for fun/torture, so not that fussed about climbing a few places on the leaderboard.

    - half or third xp for 2nd place, no xp for 3rd & 4th (maybe 2nd shouldnt count as a loss [or win] either?)
    - extra time to finish race (or earn more points) should be relative to each track.
eg. it should be possible to dnf people on beach head and gigatrack should give much more than 15secs

I like your suggestions. I've always thought the win/loss ratio should be a tally of the number of players you've beaten. So if you consistently play against the elites and come in 2nd place often, you beat 2 other players and they count as wins versus your one loss. If you finish 4th, you get 3 losses or 2 losses and one win for 3rd. I guess that would be more like a K/D ratio than a win/loss record, but food for thought.

I would definitely not quit If I came across you online in fact I'd probably set up my caPture card and record it so I could post it on my channel, so I can finally prove im not that good at trials as I think some of my subs have the illusion I'm actually good at it

I don't know the fix but racing all the maps and waiting for the final seconds to end and the #3 ranked person you're waiting for to Finnish backs out at the last moment and nobody in the lobby gets any points, and no credit for their wins and the person backing out doesn't get a loss for quitting. is a bunch of bs!

as far as an electrical storm, if you loose connection talk to your isp,

So I'm a s**t talker, If you backed out on me, You got a message from me to! I'm not into being a rat and dropping the names of those who quit on me. But I have been keeping a list of all your gamer tags just in case I loose satisfaction from sending private messages.

take a crap load of points of quitters, worst offenders get even more taken and a rank maybe!!! if they re-offend often.

like 2/3 ratio for having ppl quit in my matches, there really should be consequences for quitters mp is getting killed because of this.

People quit when facing me, a not very scary opponent, I can't imagine how hard it is to get in games when your name is Chicago AJ, T1 Whatever or anyone else from the top of the boards.. Maybe the Gt's should be hidden..

And yes, punish those quitters.. Hard!
