£0.69 I'm gonna grab this as soon as I stick some credit on my phone. Seen some comments in the Play Store complaining about having to pay for extra content. Anyone able to tell me how much the ENTIRE game's gonna cost?

Hi Joe, the only "extra content" available through in-app purchase in the Android version is the Super-Car, which helps you beat tracks more easily. However it is not required to defeat the game. It works exactly like the iOS version in that sense.

Re: DrawRace 2 For Android - $1 for a Limited Time

    hi all/RL,
I'm about half way through the game now, all gold so far,
and thought the game was worthy of a quick review.
At first i only got the game because it was by redlynx, and my initial thoughts were, that it wasn't too good, however like all good games once its got ya, its got ya.
Everything in the game is of the quality that we have come to expect from a Redlynx product, Graffics, Interface, sound, the attention to detail is great, not just the usual crappy android game app, the adverts are not too obtrusive, and although there is always the temptation of purchasing the VIP car, so far i have found that its not needed, for me that's the fun of the game, and what keeps me wanting to get the next class unlocked.
it does however need an app close button, if there is one, it needs to be made more obvious, I have to force close the game all the time, not a major problem but it would be better. EDIT: after an update the back button now works as the app close.
when i started playing i was just drawing round the course not really giving much thought to how the car responded to my drawn line, the easiest way i can now describe it, is it acts like an old Scalextric (slot car) and because of this you need to be aware of your speed going into the corners, (more important after a long straight), also the boost can be really helpful or a disaster!, so this also requires a bit of practice,
the main tip i could give a new player is SLOW down.
i didn't really like the way you controlled the game initially, but now when i draw the line, my finger is swooping and gliding all around the track, speeding up and slowing down considering the line, given a bit of time the controls are great, apart from the fact, i end up pressing down hard even when i try not to.
Ive only had a quick go on Multi Player, all connected quickly with no lag during gameplay even on 3G, HOWEVER that was only 4 races, so cant guarantee untill i have played more MP.
in summary it is an excellent game and at present the only game on my phone that gets a look in.
    for 69p pence! sAy wHaT!
    Bargain, thanks.

Redlynx, I would love to see a trials game done with the same controls, there are loads of trials games on android,
none of them any good, some of them have the physics down, some the graffics, etc but NONE offer the complete package on the phone, the main problem IMO, is the responsiveness of the controls or LACK OF!
the way the cars are controlled in DR2 could easily be adapted for trials.
maybe drawing the line as the camera flys over the track(controlling the speed of the run), then as the camera returns to default position to carry out the run you have just drawn the player could then tap the jumps/bunny hops etc. (doing all the technical stuff)
come on boys, give it some thought
you know it makes sense, its a great idea & it would also be a great way for RL to launch Trials evo onto the handset.
The only thing that is missing from this type of game on the handset at the moment, is the controls,
you have found the answer to this with Draw Race.
come on RL we want Trials Evo (or its little brother) on the go.

    Thanks for another great game.
