    Dual use for Evo

    Obviously i play to enjoy it. but I work very very long hours sometimes (work from home on remote access network 'stuff').

    When I get extremely tired, but know i have to stay awake, evo saves me. That's not an exaggeration either. I get sleepy after about a 24 hour non-stop work session. let's say Amazon has storage failures and it causes hundreds of websites to go down on your network, which is precisely what happened Thursday night. So By Friday night I was dead, but still waiting for the arrays to rebuild. So i grabbed evo and played for a lousy 20 minutes and was wide awake.

    I've gotten to where I use it to wake up probably 2 or 3 times a week.

    Does anyone else do this?

    You have to stay up for over a day?

    OT: No, but Evo did help me in real life in another way a few weeks back. Believe it or not, it helped me answer a question in a maths exam that I never would've gotten otherwise.

    All those hours wasted in the editor were actually worth it in the end. And people said I wasn't studying hard enough and was playing games too much.

    Something like "The following equation shows how the displacement of a particle varies with time:

    r=4sinti-4costj

    Prove that the particle is moving in a circle"

    All my time getting a camera to move in a circle finally paid off.

    I don't use Trials to keep me awake but it does perk me up big time if I'm feeling tired so I know what you mean.

    Speaking of which, I once fell asleep playing one of the endurance races on Forza. I woke up to find my car up against the barrier in a corner and about 2 hours on the clock!

    I find this game too difficult to play when I'm tired, but it is a mentally stimulating game and I know its not a good idea to play right before bed. Because of this I will usually switch it on for 20 mins before work in a morning and it perks my brain up.
