All it is,im looking for the best and cheapest form of camera to record high res,hd vids of tracks and then edit n post to my youtube channel.

When going for a camera my advice would be don't go cheap because filming video screens is hard on any camera. You might want to look into capture cards which are a lot better for recording your games. Unfortunately that is all they do, a camera has more uses.

A capture card is a device that connects your pc or laptop with your xbox and comes with recording and editing software. nowadays often with sharing software as well that let's you post on facebook and youtube and so on with ease. Prices range from 50 to around 200 (depending on cuurency and quality) for full HD.

With recording devices, you get what you pay for.

Hauppauge PVR is what i use and the quality is by far the best you can get on the market. Great investment if youre serious about your YT channel.

I have also heard some good stuff about the Intensity Pro which can record in 1080i too.

You can always get a Dazzle which is cheaper but the quality is medicore, logical choice if you want to upload the occasional video.

If youre lookin to make awesome pixelated videos, you can always look into getting one of those.
