    That sounds like a fair arguement.. Is that statistic for general population or people that play games within the general population? I dont have much knowledge in that area but how many people really play games anyway?

    You say that, but I bet they wouldn't sell the games for any cheaper (Why would they when they know people paid £40 before?).

    If I had the choice between a £40 physical game or a £40 download game, I'd choose the physical one.

    Well depending what costs are for the supplies to create everything for the disc to come with.. It should be worth a little less if you ask me. Sure, a big company like Microsoft might not lower prices but I was thinking more along the lines of a what if.. If I could pay a one time fee for a console that was strictly digital media but the console was worth more and the games less, I just might make that investment. I dont know what your standing is with xbox 360 or anyone else for the matter but in my experience discs and lasers have been a real burden. Prices in general for new games are already outrageous.. 100-120$ for 2 games that just came out.. And the price of failing hardware as an addition.. Pretty bogus.
