I think there are planning to at some point..barrovians have wanted this for years,and there has been models built by engineers n all sorts..i dont know if i will see it in my life time though..but i would love to see it..it would bring our north west tons of revenue n jobs.i think once this global resetion is over,people will continue to canvas for this..its either blackpool or lancaster they want it for...

I live in southend on sea...right by the seafront. Its famous for having the longest pleasure pier in the world...which i find amusing because theres nothing on it! In recent years its become chav heavy...and anyone below the age of 25 seems to think its a part of south london and talks with that accent.
