The editor could be alot worse theyve simplifyed it enough. All you have to do is connect the dots, literally. I wish you would stop using HD as a reference. This is the sequel, sequels are always different. Get to know the new editor and it will take you places, I swear.

ok well finally i got the thing attached and with physics working, it still dont react like u`d expect a normal rope bridge to ( ie bounce ) but i suppose it`ll have to do

I still stand by what i say if i have to go through all that just to get one dam bridge in .. its over complicated

ANTWANthePAWN, i`ll stop comparing it to HD, sorry

look forward to my peice of **** track in the future, im sure (if u play it) u`ll think wot a load of ****, cos the easy things i would like to do ..... i cant

u need to move the pivot so its actually on the end. if you look in the middle of the pivot there is a tiny square this is the where you need the 2 objects to join. Turn the pivot sideways to start and then line it up.

Pivots are all about patience because they are hard to get perfect. Also you may find that the rope bridge will work better with lock to the driving line ticked in its properties.

edit: at the top of the properties of the physics joint there are all different types of joints for all different scenarios but if you just want it to drop to the floor rotation joint is probably the best

Re: New Moan - Is the Level Editor to Over Complicated?

What you've done will work but...

I think when you press the back button you've still got the physics joint selected. Back right out so the cross hair appears then press back.
Also you need to align the red circle to where the joint is.
Basically the bridge will try and swing around the red circle.
