Does anybody know? Update: Yes they do (Teleportation)
In my latest track "Mild Insanity" i used a teleportation method that i came up with myself and a few people have been asking me how i did it.
I'm not going to keep this method to myself, i will tell you how i did it but i'm just curious does anyone know how i did it?
I'm pretty sure the track-building ninjas will know what i did, it's actualy pretty simple, i'm just wondering is this something somebodys done already or have i come up with an entirely new method of teleportation?

Re: Does anybody know?
In my track "Squirrel G-1" I cheated and just turned triggered visibility states for about 200 different objects (which caused massive lag at the finish line). I've yet to play your track, but I am curios about the ways people achieve teleportation in their tracks.

You are on the right track(no pun intended) shifty, the visability event is part of it, there is 2 other elements to it and the visibility event is usualy quite small, sometimes not even needed.
I make 20 seperate jumps across a single-screen track usualy at high speed so obviously massive visibility events like that would cause major lag issues and my track is lag-free.
For the record i call it the "smoke and mirror event" and it can do more than just teleport.

hi, played your track, i think i sent you a +1 for style over live txt
i would use many custom cameras and repeat the track.

Hit the nail on the head dasraiser, i duplicated the track over and over again with each crossover you trigger a camera event switching to to the new identical area and visibility events to cover the overlap from the previous and next areas.
Ironicaly my little single-screen track spans nearly the entire lenght of the game world. The whole epic jump section was a last minute addition becasue the track got so high up that the rider was hitting his head on the top of the game world and i needed to lower the track.
So there you have it folks teleportation using basic editor skills, heres a shot from the edior:
