I'm going to chime in on this one.
As a TOS member our position does seem a little elitist... but not because we think we think we are superior in any real way, moreso we have all been together pretty much from the start and it has become a nice close-knit group of virtual friends. I'd be happy to join larger groups (such as the trials clan I am also a member of) but at the same time I think it is important to preserve what we have as the TOS clan. So in a sense we aren't elitist... more exclusive... and for reasons that go beyond the game.

No, I was never in Gilk. I was even hesitant to change my screen name to include [TOS] because I'm not normally one to join leagues/clans etc but after a while I realised that it was a good group to be proud of being part of.

There are quite a few TOS in New England, but we haven't gotten the opportunity to have a meet up due to quite a number of factors. We've bonded as friends because we chat with each other so much on a daily basis and usually wind up playing something multiplayer on the Xbox so we do talk from time to time.
