There are many people calling for Ninja to be the actual difficulty beyond Extreme, and many of them wonder why it isn't. Consider this:
Extreme tracks embody all that Trials has to offer. You have to know every little trick to complete these tracks, especially if you want to Platinum run them. Extreme tracks require all the skills taught to us throughout the game, and as time has proved, skills that we learn on our own to get us through. So what is Ninja difficulty?
To me, Ninja difficulty trumps Extreme difficulty in every manner, but this is only because we, the community, have invented tricks and obstacles that Redlynx never saw coming. I mean, who'd of thought of making rails that you have to ride upside down - with only your back wheel? No one, that's who. At least not until some cracked out Trials lover was messing around in the editor and slapped a crazy rail together.
The point is that Ninja difficulty is a gift from the Trials community, people like you - the person reading this right now, and it should stay that way. Ninja is a personal goal you set, to see if you have the crazy amount of skill it takes to pass one of those tracks. The same can be said for Extreme, but again, it's the communities involvement that makes Ninja so special.
If Redlynx made Ninja difficulty the actual difficulty beyond extreme it would lose it's magic. It would be tainted and forever ruined. Do you want to ruin Trials? No? Then sit back, go to track central, and enjoy the community created Ninja difficulty that we all know and love. And while your at it, hop online and get your *** kicked by me for a few rounds. Either way, let's keep Trials the way it is.
But most people don't know that ninja is above extreme, so we see loads of mediums and hards tagged as ninja cuz it sounds cool. The only way everyone would understand it's meaning, is to have it an official difficulty. That would not, for any reason, ruin the game.
I was just thinking it might be a good idea to have the ninja dificulty above extreme, but have it so you must have a score of above 20'000'000 to unlock the ability to upload a ninja track, or you must have all plats or at least 75 out of 79, something like that would stop TC being flooded with below par tracks from people that dont undersand ninja, it could be the last thing you unlock in the game, a final bonus.
I thought the person who made the thread had a really good point, then i read that....Originally Posted by Malachyte

i think this is where you went wrong.. you based your point on this premise which is false.Originally Posted by Tazimus
extreme tracks dont embody all that Trials has to offer. and this is exactly why/how ninja tracks came to be.
people knew that they could push riders much further than extreme - so they did. and that is what ninja is for, its a level of difficulty that would be too punishing for any casual players in the single player game.
ahahahahah
@WILLYUMZ - I only just noticed that you put the quote from apdenton in your sig, nice
Casual player? Even some pro's can't complete Ninja's.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
