do you need me to PM you my email address?

nice method, very simple and clean.

do you mind adding event/filters to the colour events so people get that the chain can be passed to the set up process for the menu item selected, all tutorials for menus seem to be missing this important information.

Sorry for the confusion. I assumed ( ) you could rotate the pivot. But I'm glad the other thing (that I've actually done before) worked.

Can someone set up and check the Freeze at Checkpoint tutorial to check it on a mid track checkpoint then test the track from the start and ride past the checkpoint its set on.
No matter what I do, it always, momentarily freezes when I drive past it.
Please don't just say I've set it wrong, I wouldn't mind if I had but I can follow a simple diagram.
I've double checked it, and everything is done, I'm sure, including the 'reset at checkpoint ' bits.

    Thanks in advance,

I'll go double check it. I wish I knew what barry did to take it from not working to working. give me 5 minutes to check.

I think I found it. When I STARTED testing mode from the checkpoint that freezes and skipped back one checkpoint to try it I DID freeze when I rode past it, but that is just testing the checkpoints in the wrong order. The checkpoint sends one signal before the freezing will start, so try testing from the very first checkpoint and make sure that the checkpoint isn't activated out of order with the editor buttons. Start fresh from the first checkpoint, go back to edit mode, then go back to test mode so you start at the beginning and then tell me if it still messes up. That is the only way I can see this failing as it is now. I tried adding checkpoints before and after and it worked fine for me. Can you give me some more details of what's happening?

I know mine did the same and when I checked it with Luthanick we found the cause and then it worked. Although I still cant remember what it was. Urgh. Maybe something was wrong with the tut, Luthanick fixed my version and didnt update the tutorial? I really dont know.

I don't remember either But I just double and triple checked the tutorial against my save file and it's exactly the same. I really think it is starting the testing mode on that checkpoint that is messing people up.

I think the problem arises in the editor.
When I select the checkpoint in the editor, the rider jumps to it.
This then triggers the checkpoint. Causing something to change.

I had a similar problem with a simple firework triggering with a checkpoint.
When I ran the track, the firework at the checkpoint I'd left the rider at had already been triggered.
