I used them in my last track but it wasn't anywhere near complicated enough to justify a tutorial.
Difficult to find a good use for them.
could one of the collaborators please check the private folder and proof please, i'm not convinced the results i got are true!! , i mean reset physics should not produce fault but it does and also checked it seems to reset area trigger even though reset in checkpoint restart is disabled!!
any info why please comment on the doc , thank you for your time![]()
I haven't built it yet, but it looks like it should work. Is it necessary to take the percent of the driving line though? I'll have to try it later. After I give it a shot I'll get back to you.
thanks Luthanick, percentage is used as reset to driving line uses this, not sure why though, seems inconsistent with the only other option you have.
im also working on **** tutorials for all/most event/trigger tiles/cards(which ones better? for all/most languages), when im done i'll post in separate folder to represent the editor layout.
just optimised what's in the private folder, much much cleaner and easier.
Edit: Added test conditions.
I added a tutorial for creating a main menu for skill games. Its based on the menu on the Foosball table which Red Lynx made.
all your outputs on the colour sets would need splitters so as to send the impulse to set up the output options, not sure if this is better than your original, which was to just chain the options to there event/filter, or have i missed something?Originally Posted by MetalHead
edit: sorry dude, was not taking about your tutorial, it looks fine, although its before the date of the other for edit! probably why i got it mixed up.
Just released Add More Checkpoints (spoofing) under the Check points folder,
this allows you to add any number of checkpoints you want to a single Checkpoint, it tests for bail out and crashes so you cant just bail before it and expect it to trigger, the code is not to complex and does not have many tiles/cards and only a very small amount of code is required for each new checkpoint added (2+area trigger and some wiring), an example is shown for the copying process.
if anybody spots any errors please let me know, or has problems or questions please ask.
