The MP scoring system. Whenever I have, lets say 3 faults and come in 2nd, I ALWAYS get 7 points or less, but sometimes when other people get more faults, they still get 9 points, and I come in 2nd overall. I think that the scores should be set to negative however many faults you have. But other than this, awesome game.

If someone beats me in multiplayer with more faults than me, that's more impressive than someone beating me in multiplayer with less faults than me.
The fact that they lost time faulting and STILL beat me is a well deserved win in my opinion.
Unless is checkpoint spamming which in some tracks like WOTN can come in Handy....

This. Much easier to reset at a checkpoint if you're coming in too slow or fast. I know its small potatoes, but it undermines the fault system. If faults were irrelevant to the scoring system, this would be ok. On a side note, I'm going to dub a phenomenon that I have on occassion in MP "donkey punching". Its when you accidentally pick the donkey in MP, because for some reason its at the end of the queue of bikes, which go in ascending order from left to right until it ends with the freakin' donkey. The reason you are getting 7 points while in second is because you are finishing well behind the person in first.
If you finish about 1-6 seconds behind them you will get 9 points.
If you finish about 6-10 seconds behind them you will get 8.
10-15 seconds behind them is 7 points.
15-20 seconds behind them is 6 points.
That's the way it seems anyway.

Well, aside from the faults issue, maybe if you come in first = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, and 4th = 4 or something like that.
