RedLynx Picks Criteria??? | Forums

Just joined the site after being very curious as how RedLynx chooses their picks.
Is there any real important criteria besides creativity?

I just played two new trials picks by the same person but just added two days ago but they were created 4 and 6 weeks ago. Did these just get played by a developer and added to their picks? (BTW, they were very 'meh' levels)

I know they've altered some features of Track Central which seem to be good changes, but some features i think still need to be changed. The addition of the 48 hour highest rated seems to be working good.

Anyways, i could go on about how incredibly amazing this game is yet sometime frustrating, but to my main point.
Hopefully someone at RedLynx will read this and comment.

Is there any criteria on how the trials/pure fun tracks are chosen?
Any feedback from anyone with real insight would be very much appreiciated.

I don't think there is a criteria other than one of the developers liking your track enough to want it in their picks. I could be wrong though.

First the tracks have to get on the list of awesome tracks, then they have to be one of the most awesome tracks on that list.

I got track of the week but never made RedLynx Picks.

i got highest rated in 48 hours lol... once.

maybe they are chosen by the luckiest guy in the world... the chooser of user trials creations.
wonder what that pays? can they be bribed?

I'm not sure how many developers can pick a track to be in Redlynx picks, but it is more than 1 person picking them. I got a message from one of the developers saying my track would be in Redlynx picks in a day or twos time, and that he liked my track. Two days later my track was in Redlynx picks.

That's why I say I don't think there is a criteria for getting your track picked other than the developer has to like it and want it in their picks.

I wish they could have a community pick aswell, that way the track will be tested by alot of users who knows what makes a good track and once a week a community vote will finalise which tracks are good enough etc.

the community pick idea sounds cool. i think they have a spot left on the main screen.
i wish they would add more slots to the new trials and 48 hour picks. theres what 52, other screens have 100 i believe.
